Our story

Founded in a one-room schoolhouse of our own.

ChalkLoft began with a simple picture: one teacher, one room, one board, and a syllabus that deserved more room than a folder of links.

We shaped the product around the everyday work of independent teaching: arranging lessons, checking assignments, recording completion, and making the next class easy to find.

The business model is intentionally plain. ChalkLoft sells software subscriptions; it does not promise course sales, audience growth, or creator income.

Teachers keep the lights on.

Software should support teaching work without pretending it can manufacture an audience.

Your students are yours.

You own and control your course content and your student relationships, subject to applicable law.

No income hype, ever.

Creator earnings depend on your own work and audience. ChalkLoft makes no income promises.
