Refund Policy

1. ChalkLoft offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund entry for subscriptions

ChalkLoft offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund entry for subscriptions. This policy is intended to make the refund path clear rather than hide it behind a support maze.

2. For a live billing system, a customer would request a refund within 30 days of the applicable subscription charge through the designated support or billing channel

For a live billing system, a customer would request a refund within 30 days of the applicable subscription charge through the designated support or billing channel. Refund processing would be performed through the payment provider or other system responsible for the charge.

3. This static project has no live payment processor, so a real charge cannot be made through the included checkout

This static project has no live payment processor, so a real charge cannot be made through the included checkout. The checkout demonstrates the user flow and clears local cart state after the success screen.

4. Trial periods are 14 days

Trial periods are 14 days. A trial item is shown as $0.00, labeled “14-day trial,” followed by the applicable monthly price after 14 days. A production billing integration must clearly disclose when a trial converts into a recurring subscription.

5. Refunds do not transfer ownership of course content

Refunds do not transfer ownership of course content. Creators remain responsible for their own content, student communications, and any third-party services they use.

6. The refund link is intentionally available from the pricing page, plan handouts, footer, and FAQ so that customers can locate it without guessing where to look

Additional guidance

A refund request should identify the applicable order or subscription when a live billing system exists, but customers should not be required to disclose payment-card numbers by email or through an ordinary support form. The payment provider should process the reversal using its secure tooling. A refund does not guarantee deletion of records that must legally be retained, and it does not cancel unrelated third-party services. If a customer continues using a course after a refund, the live service terms should explain whether access ends immediately or at a defined point. This static demo makes no charge and therefore cannot itself issue a financial reversal.
